The Grassroots Movement of Musicians For Nets is Growing!  

Musicians for Nets, an emerging  group of  Chicago musicians,  is reaching out to all musicians and venues nationally, on behalf of Against Malaria to continue the war on Malaria by raising money for insecticide impregnated mosquito nets.  

  Musicians For Nets is extending an invitation to all musicians as well as venues (bars, clubs, coffee shops, community centers, and music schools) that support local musicians and their live music to join them in their cause.

   Musicians For Nets will promote participating venues and musicians and ask that all members of the community support their efforts as well.

  Musicians For Nets is currently promoting our grassroots program called "Pennies For Nets". Everyone has some pennies thrown in a jar or drawer. You got 'em - We need 'em! Every 500 pennies buys 1 insecticide impregnated mosquito net that is capable of saving 4 kids. So help out some kids today and also support your local independent musicians and venues.

Over the past two years Musicians For Nets has tried to spread the word and do whatever we can to help further the cause in the War On Malaria. Every lit bit helps us. See below for a slideshow of images from Amazon Bay rural, Abau District, Papua New Guinea where in conjunction with The Skeeter Beaters Foundation, Against Malaria, and Rotary International, 20,000 Insecticide Impregnated Mosquito Nets have been distributed. We are so proud of our part in this effort and the efforts of all of you. This is the real deal and real lives are saved.
