Paddy C

- Paddy C 1-2 or 3pc, male, Covers-Originals, Folk-Rock-Americana
Music has been in the family for Paddy C his entire life. His
great-grandmother raised her young children giving piano lessons and
playing in the silent movie houses at the turn of the last century. Paddy
had the opportunity to experience her talents at family parties while
growing up. Family parties were always a rousing affair with all
generations joining in the singing. Aunts, uncles, and cousins attending
with pianos , guitars, banjos and the like adding to the joyful noise.
Paddy himself received his first guitar in the third grade and began
performing at those same parties and at school functions. He was
reprimanded by the nuns in the fifth grade for performing protest songs by
Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan at a school talent show.
In the seventh grade Paddy began his lifelong love for the harmonica. His
early influences were Paul Butterfield, Junior Wells, Corky Siegel ,and
Sonny Terry, to name just a few. He has played the harmonica since and has
shared the stage with many of his idols.
Paddy adds his own stamp and style to all the songs he performs and has a
huge catalogue to draw from. His style lends itself to sing-a-longs and
the joyous feel of a house party.
Whether it is in front of the fireplace in your living room or in your
bar, coffee shop, school, retirement home, or corporate event; Paddy C
will bring with him the joy of togetherness and that old family feeling.
